9ballrunout

Terms of service

Last updated TODO(launch): set a real date. Questions: [email protected]

1. Who we are

This site is operated as 9ballrunout ("we"). You can reach us at [email protected] for anything to do with these terms, your account or a purchase.

2. The service

We provide a tool that calculates a plan to run a pool rack out from a given layout. The plan is a mathematical estimate based on stated assumptions; it is not a guarantee of any shot, game or match outcome. You are responsible for how you use it.

3. Accounts

Sign-in is by Google only. You are responsible for activity on your account. Credits are attached to the account, are not transferable, and have no cash value. We may suspend an account that abuses the service — for example by automating requests or attempting to bypass the free-tier limits.

4. Purchases, credits and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases processed by PayPal. A completed payment adds the stated number of credits to your account; one credit unlocks one runout layout in full, and re-opening a layout you have already unlocked is free.

All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. This is because the product is digital content delivered immediately: the credits are usable the moment the payment completes, and the free tier lets you evaluate the tool fully before paying.

5. Your right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)

Consumers in the UK and the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Digital content supplied immediately is different: the right to withdraw is lost once supply has begun, but only if you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose that right.

You are asked to confirm exactly that before checkout, and the acknowledgement is recorded with the purchase. If you do not agree to immediate supply, do not complete the purchase — the free tier lets you evaluate the tool first.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice on this site.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page will change and continued use of the site means you accept the new version.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established. TODO(launch): state the country/state here, and the courts that have jurisdiction.
